Mariama is currently amongst the judges for the CAP Prize 2024 and the World Press Photo. She’s also recently wrote an article for Trigger and moderated a talk in Antwerp as part of the Futures Meet up 2023.

Mariama also wrote the introductory chapter for the 10x10 photobook What They Saw which won the Kraszna-Krausz Photography Book Award in 2022.

Mariama Attah is a photography curator, writer and lecturer with a particular interest in overlooked visual histories, and understanding how photography and visual culture can be used to amplify underrepresented voices. Mariama is currently Associate Curator for Art Collection Deutsche Börse. Previous roles include Head of Exhibitions at Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool, Assistant Editor of Foam Magazine, Curator at Photoworks, and Commissioning and Managing Editor of the yearly magazine Photoworks Annual.

David Campany

David Campany is a writer, Curator at Large for the International Center of Photography, New York, and Reader in Photography at the University of Westminster, London.  Recent curatorial projects include Immersion: Gregory Halpern, Vasantha Yogananthan, Raymond Meeks (ICP New York 2022), William Klein: Yes –Photographs, Paintings, Films 1948-2013 (ICP, New York, 2022); ACTUAL SIZE! Photography at Life Scale (ICP, 2022); A Trillion Sunsets: A Century of Image Overload (ICP, 2022); and Gillian Laub: Family Matters (ICP, 2021). Recent books include Indeterminacy: Thoughts on Time, The Image and Race(ism), co-written with Stanley Wolukau-Wanambwa (2022), On Photographs (2020), and A Handful of Dust (2015).

 

Mimí Mollica

 

Mimí Mollica (Palermo, Italy 1975) is an award winning documentary photographer, editor and Associate Lecturer in Photojournalism at London Metropolitan University. Mimi’s work examines themes relating to identity, environment, migration, and the impacts of social and political change upon communities.

Mimi’s multi-awarded work has been widely featured in various prestigious publications ranging from The Guardian Weekend Magazine, FT Weekend Magazine, The New York Times Lens, Newsweek Japan, Sunday Times Magazine, Internazionale, C Photo, Granta, among many others.

Recent monographs include East London up Close (Hoxton Mini Press 2021) and Terra Nostra (Dewi Lewis Publishing 2017).

In 2015 Mimi founded the Offspring Photo Meet, a yearly festival of photography with portfolio reviews and an inclusive cultural program that features young emerging talents and established international artists.
